Jamaican Destination Wedding Inspiration

Adriana Weddings: Our Jamaican
‘Irie’ Destination Wedding Shoot Featured!

Big thank you to Wedding Planner and Decorator Terri Myrie of
Terri Events for recommending this gorgeous venue!

Cary Island has an old
colonial style elegance with its own private island, need I say more.

I am in love with this beautiful island ‘Jamaica’ and wanted
to showcase some of our tropical and colourful Jamaican elements in this bridal
inspiration shoot.

Keep reading for behind the scenes details:

In deciding the colors to use on our model Kadejah I used her
golden undertones as a guide in selecting her makeup palette.  I kept the
colors muted as her surroundings were already colourful.

My dear friends Rochelle Williams and Paulette Welsh helped to
bring my vision of a Jamaican tropical tablescape to life utilising elements of
the coconut and tropical plants which are very common on our island. Most spots
on the island will have a “Jelly man selling this magical fruit”

Both dress providers are certainly masters of their craft, our
gorgeous model never had to go in for a fitting. Height and photographs were
all Kamala of White Lotus and Simone Gordon needed in providing the
dresses.  Destination Brides can definitely consider these ladies for
dress options for their Jamaican wedding.

Our photographer Darien Robertson and his assistant Givanni did am
amazing job capturing this shoot regardless of the overcast skies and
threatening rains.  Visit Adriana Weddings to
see more awesomeness and contact details for participating vendors.
